Reports: ISIS may be indulging in organ harvesting to raise funds
Reports suggest that the ISIS militants might be harvesting human organs. According to reports, Iraq's Ambassador to the United Nations asked the UN Security Council to look into allegations into ISIS harvesting organs.
Ambassador Mohamed Alhakim said that in the past few days, bodies that were discovered in shallow mass graves were seen with incisions or missing body parts, raising fears that the militant outfit may be raising funds through this.
"It is clear that they are missing certain parts," he said.
Alhakim said urged the UN Security Council to come and examine the bodies. He also claimed that a dozen of doctors were executed for not indulging in organ harvesting.
He even said that the militant outfit was targeting certain ethnic groups and was indulging in genocide.
