While acknowledging the intensity of 2024, Hoffman prefers not to speculate on political outcomes. Instead, he plans to focus on building impactful AI companies in 2025.

Regarding Trump's support from tech billionaires like Elon Musk and Marc Andreessen, Hoffman wasn't surprised given the Biden administration's stance on cryptocurrency and large tech firms. He hopes the Trump administration will adopt a pro-business approach without adverse effects from tariffs.

He argues that if AI risks are comparable to driving risks, they shouldn't be overly concerning. However, if they pose existential threats, more protective measures should be taken.
