Poland stabbing: One killed, 7 wounded as man attacks people at shopping mall

A woman was killed and seven others injured after a knife-wielding man randomly began stabbing people at a shopping mall in the town of Stalowa Wola in Poland on Friday.

The injured have been rushed to the hospital and the condition of six of them is said to be serious, said reports.

Reports say that eight people were injured initially, but a 50-year-old woman died in a hospital.

Several shoppers and a guard at the mall tackled the attacker and pinned him down. The stabber was then arrested by the police.

The identity of the attacker or his motive behind the attack is not known yet.
