PM Modi and Xi Jinping enjoy music, walk, tea in Wuhan City
Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chinese President Xi Jinping enjoyed an instrumental rendition of Bollywood song at an event in China's central Wuhan city on Friday. Chinese President Xi Jinping PM Modi spent some time with musicians playing 1982 Bollywood song 'Tu, tu hai wahi dil ne jise apna kaha,'.
On the second day, Prime Minister Modi and Chinese President Xi Jinping walked along East Lake in Wuhan and the two leaders also had tea after the walk. The meet got more personal today as the two leaders walked and went on a boat ride in the picturesque East Lake.
"A memorable boat ride on the beautiful East Lake, which is a prized landmark of Wuhan," Modi tweeted.
Both leaders held a talk inside a houseboat in East Lake.
"Productive discussions over tea. Strong India-China friendship is beneficial for the people of our nations and the entire world," Modi said. "The talks with President Xi Jinping focussed on diverse areas of India-China cooperation. We discussed ways to give impetus to our economic ties as well as people-to-people relations. Other areas we spoke about include agriculture, technology, energy and tourism," Modi tweeted.
This will be followed by a private lunch hosted by the Chinese President. Prime Minister Modi will depart for India on Saturday.
