Pakistani diplomat's son arrested in US for assaulting teen

Washington, Dec 10: Son of a Pakistani diplomat posted in US has been arrested for allegedly having sex with a teenage girl, media reported on Thursday.

Accused identified as 20-year-old Mehmood Rahimoon alias Rey raped the girl hails from Bronx. He met the victim in October on Whisper, an app where users can post messages anonymously.

According to sources, Rey and his friend got physical in their third meeting on Dec 1 in a room at the Riveroad Motor Inn on Webster Ave, reported NY Daily News.

The suspect's father, Muhammad Rahimoon, is listed on his Facebook page as a community/welfare counselor for the Pakistani government.

"It's a shock. I knew nothing of this," the dad said after his son's arraignment late Wednesday. "This is all fabricated. My son is a good person."
