Nawaz Sharif extended an invitation to all political parties, urging them to come together and collaborate in the formation of a government with the aim of resolving Pakistan's challenges.

The PML-N supremo said his party respects the mandate of all parties, including the independents. "We are inviting everyone today to rebuild this wounded Pakistan and sit with us," he said.

"Our [PML-N] agenda is only a happy Pakistan and you know what we have done before," he said, highlighting the party's past performance.

The former Pakistan PM claimed that his party wants to better relations with the world.

Sharif added, "...We want our relations with the world to be better...We will improve our relations with them and resolve all our issues with them..."

He delivered the speech while the outcome of all 265 contested seats in the National Assembly was pending. The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) announced results for 224 constituencies, revealing that independents secured 92 seats, PML-N 63, PPP 50, Muttahida Qaumi Movement 12, and other parties claimed 7 seats. Notably, independents, backed by the PTI, retained flexibility to align with any party post-elections, except for the PTI, which faced disqualification due to invalidated intra-party elections and loss of a unified symbol prior to the polls.
