Nut rage: Former South Korean air executive Heather Cho freed
Seoul, May 22: Former South Korean air executive who was given jail term for delaying a flight, has been freed, media reported.
Former Korean Air executive Heather Cho was given jail term in February after she forced a plane to return to the gate in New York on December 5, 2014. She went fumed over the way she was served nuts.
Popular as nutrage, the case prompted outrage and ridicule, BBC reported.
A court in South Korea on Friday court ruled she did not cause a change in the flight path so she should serve a suspended sentence.
It gave Cho a reduced sentence of 10 months and suspended the prison term for two years.
