You have made me proud: Narendra Modi tells chef Vikas Khanna
New York, Sept 25: After preparing an elaborate menu for Prime Minister Narendra Modi [Narendra Modi's dinner date with CEOs in US: What's on the menu?], renowned chef Vikas Khanna will be presenting US President Barack Obama with an Indian flag signed by PM Modi.
Speaking to reporters after serving Modi, Khanna said: "Prime Minister has given this flag for President Obama. I will be meeting him."

Khanna also said that PM Modi congratulated him and told him that he (Khanna) had made him proud. "Prime Minister told me tune mera sar uncha kar diya hai (You have made me proud)," he said.
Khanna had prepared an elaborate menu for PM Modi and 47 top American CEOs who met the prime minister at the Waldorf Astoria hotel. Khanna said that his menu was inspired by 26 festivals of India which he tried to present in a different fashion.
He added that he tried to bring in flavours from the East, West, South and North region of the country.
