Microsoft's Satya Nadella Welcomes Sam Altman's Return To OpenAI Leadership
Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella expressed support for Sam Altman's return to OpenAI, despite Altman's recent dismissal from the organization.
Nadella mentioned discussions with Altman over the matter, stating, "Sam, Greg, and I have conversed and agreed upon their crucial roles alongside the OAI leadership team to ensure OAI's continued success and commitment to its mission. We anticipate furthering our robust partnership, delivering the value of this next generation of AI to our customers and partners." Nadella shared these sentiments shortly after Altman revealed his decision on X, Wednesday.

OpenAI confirmed Sam Altman's reinstatement as CEO, following his highly publicized departure from the company.
On Wednesday, OpenAI announced the agreement for Sam Altman's comeback as CEO, accompanied by a newly constituted board comprising Bret Taylor, Larry Summers, and Adam D'Angelo.
Expressing his anticipation, Sam Altman stated in a post on X, "I am eager to resume my role at OpenAI."
