Kim Jong's US friend in Singapore to witness the historic moment
Former NBA star and North Korea Chairman Kim Jong Un's friend Dennis Rodman is in Singapore to witness the historic Trump-Kim summit on Tuesday.
Dennis Rodman got emotional on CNN while sharing his joy at seeing his "friend" Kim Jong-un meeting with US President Donald Trump. Rodman wore his 'Make America Great Again' hat on CNN and broke down in tears for how happy he is for the world due to the Trump-Kim Summit.
He said, "Many thought this day was never possible. President Trump made it happen under two years."
"We have really put ourselves on the line to reach out to North Korea and they have been so gracious to me, my family and the United States. So let's make this happen. If Trump can pull this off, more power to him," Rodman said on CNN.

Rodman spoke to CNN after Donald Trump and Kim Jong-Un shook hands to begin the summit. The two men posed for photos before proceeding to a one-on-one meeting, joined only by their translators.
Rodman was in North Korea a year ago. He gave the book "Art of the Deal" to Minister Kim Il Guk in Pyongyang, saying, hoping everyone reads it before the historic Singapore Summit on June 12. He said, "We've got the greatest negotiator of all time Donald Trump to show the world how it's done."
