Khalistani Leader Pannun Threatens To Bomb Modi Stadium During World Cup
Pro-Khalistani leader Gurpatwant Singh Pannun has once again spewed venom against India. This time, he has threatened to disrupt the 2023 Cricket World Cup by bombing Narendra Modi Stadium in Gujarat.
A video, currently circulating on social media, features Pannun issuing a purported threat to avenge the demise of pro-Khalistani leader Hardeep Singh Nijjar, who was recently killed by unidentified individuals in Canada.

The video employs dramatic music and low-quality graphics to portray a grenade attack on the Narendra Modi stadium. Pannun further calls for a halt to the 2023 Cricket World Cup until the "Sikhs' right of self-determination is fulfilled."
However, The authenticity of the video could not be independently verified by Oneindia.
Last week, rumours were doing rounds that Khalistani leader Gurpatwant Singh Pannun, who is one of the founders of Sikh For Justice (SFJ), was killed in a road accident.
Amid rumours of death, the designated terrorist came out to clarify that he was "alive". He has also warned India that they will avenge the death of Hardeep Nijjar.
"Hardeep Nijjar was my younger brother and we had an association of more than 20 years. We will avenge his death," Pannun said.
Pannun rose to prominence by leading the Khalistan 2020 referendum campaign across various Western countries, garnering significant attention. In 2020, the Indian government designated Gurpatwant Singh Pannun as a terrorist under the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act (UAPA). Reportedly, he has 22 cases against him including three sedition cases.
The fugitive secessionist, in an interview with The Times Of India, had taken responsibility for spreading "kill posters" aimed at Indian diplomats serving in Canada, the UK and the US.
