Sasikala and Elavarasiaya take Jaya's tail; Bail plea in SC may be heard on Tuesday

New Delhi, Oct 10: The bail plea hearing of Jayalalitha may be heard on Tuesday, media speculates, not before since the bench does not entertain bail pleas on Monday. Meanwhile, her other two aides Sasikala and Elavarasiaya have also filed a bail plea in the SC and have requested an urgent action today.

Jayalalitha, in her bail plea to SC pleaded that she has been sentenced to just four years of jail and that she is also suffering from multiple ailments. Hence, she needs an immediate relief. She also pleaded not guilty as she did not misuse the powers of a CM. The former chief minister of Tamil Nadu also said that she should be shown leniency for being a senior citizen and a woman.

The 66 year old politician has been denied bail by the Karnataka high court on October 7 in the 66 crore disproportionate assets case.
