ISIS propaganda magazine briefly available for sale on Amazon
London, Jun 7: English-language propaganda magazine of dreaded terror group Islamic State were briefly available for sale on the website of online retailer Amazon.
Four different copies of ISIS' magazine 'Dabiq' were available in paperback form on Amazon's sites in the UK, US, France, Germany, Italy and Spain, the BBC reported.
The author of the magazine was listed as al-Hayat Media Centre, the ISIS' media arm which produces propaganda videos and newsletters for the group.
Islamic State is a proscribed terrorist organisation in several countries including the UK, the US and India.
Dabiq is described on Amazon as a periodical focussing on issues including jihad as well as 'photo reports, current events and informative articles on matters related to the ISIS'.
It was available for up to 27 pounds. The publication, named after the small Syrian town of Dabiq for symbolic reasons, was launched in 2014.
Amazon's websites list the publisher of the magazines as "CreateSpace Independent Publishing Platform", which is an Amazon-owned self-publishing company.
The listings have now been pulled from the website. "This product is no longer available for sale," the BBC reported, citing a statement from Amazon.
It said the company did not give any further details. ISIS or IS is an al-Qaeda splinter group and it has seized hundreds of square miles in Iraq and Syria.
Al-Qaeda has distanced itself from the group, chiding it for its lack of teamwork in its aggressive, brutal expansion.
