Is Pakistan Bracing For An Earthquake? Frank Hoogerbeets' Eerie Prediction Goes Viral

A Dutch researcher with Solar System Geomatry Survey (SSGEOS), Netherlands named Frank Hoogerbeets who had apparently made a eerie 'prediction' about powerful earthquake of greater than 7.5 magnitude would strike Turkey and Syria on Feb 03 that killed over 50,000 people, has yet again made similar warnings regarding a potential earthquake near Pakistan.

In his latest forecast dated Spetember 30 which went viral, Frank Hoogerbeets pointed out atmospheric anomalies were detected in areas around Pakistan. He suggested that these anomalies may serve as potential precursors to a more substantial seismic event.

Is Pakistan Bracing For An Earthquake? Frank Hoogerbeets Eerie Prediction Goes Viral

"On 30 September we recorded atmospheric fluctuations that included parts of and near Pakistan. This is correct. It can be an indicator of an upcoming stronger tremor (as was the case with Morocco). But we cannot say with certainty that it will happen," the scientist, recognised for his earthquake forecasts based on celestial alignments, posted on X.

It's crucial to acknowledge that many experts in the field of seismology categorise Hoogerbeets as a "pseudoscientist," contending that his approach promotes a misleading understanding of earthquake prediction.

This recent announcement by Hoogerbeets has fueled speculation on social media regarding a possible earthquake in Pakistan. Concerns have also arisen, given his accurate predictions of the twin earthquakes in Turkey and Syria earlier this year.

Pakistan, a nation known for its high seismic activity due to multiple major fault lines running through it, is not unfamiliar with earthquakes. The SSGEOS has reported an unusual surge in electric charge fluctuations along the fault lines in Balochistan's Chaman area, hinting at the potential for a potent earthquake. Nevertheless, the precise timing and location of such events continue to elude prediction.

In the midst of the online discussions, Hoogerbeets has downplayed the rumors of an impending "major earthquake." He clarified that while certain indicators may exist, there is no certainty that such an event will transpire.

"Often when we say that there is the possibility of a stronger earthquake, rumors appear that "there will be a big earthquake." These rumors are false! There can be indicators, yes. But there is no certainty that it will happen," Hoogerbeets tweeted.
