Iran Suspends Flights Until Tomorrow Morning Amid Escalating Tensions

Iran's civil aviation authority has announced the suspension of all flights until 10 a.m. local time tomorrow morning, as reported by the state-run Tasnim News Agency. The decision comes amid rising regional tensions following Iran's launch of approximately 180 missiles at Israel earlier today.

Citing the aviation authority's spokesperson, Tasnim reported that passenger flights were canceled due to "the situation in the region." The spokesperson reassured passengers that ticket costs would be refunded if necessary, and more details would be provided to the public in due course.

In a show of support for Iran's actions, Yemen's Iran-backed Houthi movement issued a statement praising the missile strikes on Israel. "We salute the Islamic Republic for its support of Palestine and its resistance against American hegemony in the region," said Houthi spokesperson Mohammed Abdul Salam.

Meanwhile, Iraq's Resistance Coordination Committee also weighed in, issuing a stern warning that if the United States takes action against Iran or if Israeli forces use Iraqi airspace to attack Iran, "all American bases and interests in Iraq and the region will be our target."
