Iran-Israel Crisis: Indian Students Evacuated From Tehran, 24x7 Helplines Released
Amid rising tensions between Israel and Iran, the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) on Tuesday confirmed that Indian students in Tehran have been relocated to safer areas. The Indian Embassy in Iran coordinated the evacuation as a safety measure in light of the deteriorating situation in the region.
According to an official statement from the MEA, "Indian students in Tehran have been moved out of the city for reasons of safety, through arrangements made by the Embassy." The embassy is maintaining constant communication with the Indian community to provide all possible assistance.

The MEA further advised Indian nationals who have access to personal transportation to leave Tehran and shift to safer locations on their own. In addition to this, the ministry revealed that some Indian nationals have been assisted in exiting Iran via the Armenian border. It also noted that more advisories may follow, depending on how the situation unfolds.
