India's most wanted: New tapes reveal that Dawood Ibrahim is in Islamabad

Islamabad, Dec 27: Islamabad has been denying the presence of underworld don Dawood Ibrahim, but a set of tapes prove that the wanted criminal is living in safe havens in the city, says a Mail Today report.

The much-dreaded don has successfully dodged Indian and international agencies for nearly two decades now. He is listed as an international terrorist and India's 'most wanted' for masterminding the attacks in Mumbai in 1993 where 350 people were killed and countless others were injured. Dawood also figures in UN's al-Qaeda sanctions list.

The tapes accessed by Mail Today from a website Newsmobile.in proves that Dawood Ibrahim is in Pakistan. The tapes were procured from western diplomatic sources, says the report.

The report says that Dawood is running his business empire in Islamabad and the money he makes are being spent in terror operations around the world.

In the tapes, Dawood is heard talking about his real estate businesses in Karachi. He is heard having conversation with his main associates like Javed, who manages his business interests in Dubai, Yasir, son of an influential Pakistani who manages his business interests in Dubai.

The tapes show that Dawood is on a real estate-buying spree in Dubai. Apart from the real estate business, he is also involved in narcotics, extortion, hawala, betting and match-fixing, besides running a thriving fake Indian currency notes racket.
