Hollywood Exodus? Several Stars Contemplating On Leaving US After Trump’s Victory
Following Donald Trump's sweeping victory over Kamala Harris in the US elections, several prominent Hollywood figures have voiced their intentions to leave America.
Trump, the Republican nominee, clinched the presidency with 295 Electoral College votes compared to Harris's 226.

Here are the celebrities considering relocating abroad in reaction to the election results.
America Ferrera
Actress America Ferrera is reportedly contemplating a move to the UK with her family following Trump's win. The 40-year-old star, best known for her role in 'Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants', is seeking a brighter future for her two young children, according to the New York Post. An insider has said Ferrera is "devastated" by Harris' loss.
Sharon Stone
Sharon Stone is also mulling over a move to Italy. In July, the 'Basic Instinct' actress revealed she was thinking about buying a house there, remarking, "This is one of the first times in my life that I've actually seen anyone running for office on a platform of hate and oppression," as reported by the New York Post.
Cher
Singer and actress Cher, a staunch critic of Trump, remarked that his leadership had severely affected her health. In a 2023 interview with The Guardian, when asked about Trump's possible return to power, she said, "I almost got an ulcer the last time. If he gets in, who knows? This time I will leave [the country]."
Sophie Turner
British actress Sophie Turner, famed for her role in 'Game of Thrones', made her views clear, stating she would "get the f--k out" and return to her homeland, the UK, if Trump returned to office.
Raven-Symone
Actress Raven-Symone previously vowed to leave the US if a Republican took office during Trump's first run in 2016, expressing this sentiment on The View. Her current plans are uncertain in light of the recent election results.
Minnie Driver
British actress Minnie Driver has already made the move back to the UK. The 54-year-old shared in July with The Times that she recently returned to Britain after nearly 30 years in Los Angeles.
Reflecting on the prospect of Trump regaining office, she said she'd find it challenging to move back to America, adding, "If I lived in a red [Republican] state, no, I couldn't [return]. But living in California, you are somewhat insulated."
