Here’s what happened when ‘Kim Jong-un’ visited New York and met awestruck fans

A hilarious video of around seven minutes, posted by content creator QPark, showcases how an artist perfectly impersonated Kim Jong-un and “proudly” walked around the streets of New York.

New York, Oct 28: Imagine North Korean leader Kim Jong-un suddenly appearing in one of the well-known streets of New York in the United States.

Obviously, such an unexpected visit by the dictator to the US, considered to be North Korea's biggest enemy, will leave the New Yorkers stunned. Yes, Kim visited New York, but it was actually his lookalike who nonetheless managed to register as much attention as the real dictator would have got from the residents of the city.

A hilarious video of around seven minutes, posted by content creator QPark, showcases how an artist perfectly impersonated the dictator and "proudly" walked around the streets of New York.

During his New York sojourn Kim's lookalike, dressed in all black, was also accompanied by a "bodyguard".

The prank video begins by informing the audience that "Kim" walked for around 10 hours across the length and breadth of the city.

He first went to Harlem and immediately caught the attention of people. In the video, one can hear comments like "you look like that President", followed by peals of laughter.

After seeing "Kim", another person said, "That is crazy". Many also addressed the man as "Kim Jong-un." Another said, "That's hilarious. He's in Harlem!" One more voice was heard saying, "What is he doing in America?"

We don't know whether New Yorkers really failed to recognise that the man is actually impersonating Kim or they were also playing along with the prankster. Anyway, whatever the case is, the audience had a great time watching this video at a time when the US and North Korea are experiencing great tension.

In Harlem itself, one 'bold' man managed to strike up a conversation with the imposter by addressing him as the "supreme leader". He asked "Kim", "Do you have rockets?"

In New York, Kim also visited a salon to get his famous haircut. One woman made "Kim" dance for a few seconds, before people mobbed him for pictures.

Then as he strolled through the streets of New York, "Kim" revealed his love for the city. "I love New York."

One more woman after meeting "Kim" said she felt blessed. Then the "dictator" decided to visit Wall Street. He took a metro to reach the place and once there in front of palatial buildings, Kim stated, "Teach me your capitalist trick".

The imposter was seen questioning people, "Have you seen Donald Trump?"
Once again, people took pictures of "Kim". One man was heard calling him "rocket man" as nicknamed by Trump.

Then he visited the Empire State building and Koreatown. In Koreatown, Kim was seen going to a restaurant.

The video ends with the message--"Maybe peace really is possible. Less arms, more talk."
