Hajj 2026 is anticipated to occur between May 24 and 29 next year.

The Qurrah will take place at 11:30 am in the Committee Room of the Haj Committee of India located at Hajj House, Mumbai. According to a notification issued on Tuesday, "The Qurrah will be conducted online and will be livestreamed on the website of the Haj Committee of India hajcommittee.gov.in." The statement also mentioned that applicants would receive notifications via SMS.

Hajj 2026: Selection Process and Payment

The list of provisionally selected and waitlisted pilgrims will be accessible on the Haj Committee's website. Pilgrims can check their status using their cover number. Those who are provisionally selected must pay an Advance Haj amount of Rs. 1,52,300 by August 20. Failure to make this payment will result in the cancellation of their application.

Hajj 2026 will feature 18 embarkation points across India, including major cities like Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, and Bengaluru. However, Bhopal, Vijayawada, and Aurangabad will not serve as embarkation points this year. Details regarding inbound and outbound flights are expected to be released soon.

Short Duration Hajj Package for Professionals

A Short Duration Hajj Package has been confirmed for working professionals by the Haj Committee. This package allows over 10,000 pilgrims to apply under this scheme. India's total quota under the government scheme stands at 175,025 pilgrims. The package includes a stay of 20 days in Saudi Arabia.

If applications for this package exceed 10,000, a final list will be determined through another Qurrah draw. This ensures that all applicants have a fair chance of being selected for this special package.
