Fazlullah was dead in 2010 too!


Peshawar, Dec 20: The Facebook Page of the the Ministry of Defence, Pakistan has the following updates on the death of Maulana Fazlullah. The Pakistan military it is said is verifying the information before making it official since a similar thing had happened in 2010 too regarding the death of Fazlullah.

The messages 6 hours ago:

-TTP commander Fazal Ullah was taken down by PAF jets inside the territory of Afghanistan. The intelligence sharing played an important role in eliminating the master mind of Peshawar attack.

-TTP commander Fazal Ullah was killed in an airstrike carried out by PAF jets inside Afghanistan.

-Joy in the eyes of Military leadership as they receive confirmation of Fazal Ullah's death in the operation room. SSG has been sent inside Afghanistan to drag the body. Media will be briefed anytime soon.

-The SSG operators have now responded with the visual confirmation of the dead body of TTP commander Fazal Ullah. Awaiting their return home safely.

No official confirmation:

However, there has been no official confirmation of any sort, although it has been confirmed that a major operation was launched in Afghanistan jointly by the ISAF and the Pakistan military to nab Tehrik-e-Taliban militants and in particular Fazlullah, the mastermind of the Peshwar strike.

Although the announcement was made on the Facebook page, confirmation is still awaited. Only once an official spokesperson of the Pakistan army makes a statement will the news be official.

Happened in 2010 too:

In the year 2010, similar news had broken out regarding the death of Fazlullah. It was said that year that he was killed along with six of his accomplices in the Barg Matal district of Afghanistans Nuristan province, which lies close to the border with Pakistan. This had even been confirmed Mohammad Zaman Mamozai, chief of the Afghan border force for the eastern region.
