Explosions Rock Tel Aviv, Haifa as Israel-Iran Conflict Reaches New High

The conflict between Israel and Iran has reached a critical point, with explosions rocking Tel Aviv and Haifa late Sunday night-the most intense strikes since hostilities began. The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) confirmed multiple air defense alerts, signaling incoming missile threats over densely populated areas.

According to the IDF, over 100 Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs) were launched by Iran in the latest salvo. "Iran sent more than 100 UAVs at Israel. We intercepted them," the IDF said in a post on X (formerly Twitter). "All Israelis are targets for the Iranian regime. All Israelis are heroes to us."

One of the missiles reportedly struck the Gezer gas power plant, a critical energy infrastructure site in central Israel. Although the full extent of damage is being assessed, the strike underscores Iran's shift toward targeting key civilian and energy facilities.

This marks the fourth consecutive night of attacks in what has become the most significant direct confrontation between Israel and Iran in decades. The continuing Iranian missile attacks have already resulted in several civilian casualties and widespread infrastructure damage, raising concerns over the possibility of a broader regional war.
