Quake hits Nepal again: 18 dead
Kathmandu, May 12: Eighteen persons were killed while over 300 were injured after an earthquake of 7.4 magnitude hit Nepal on Tuesday afternoon.
Chautara, the capital of Sindhupalchowk district, saw a number of deaths. Bodies were recovered from the ruins and the injured were sent to hospital, aid workers said. The U.S. Geological Survey later revised the magnitude to 7.3. [Follow live updates]

It was Sindhupalchowk which had seen the most number of deaths in the 7.8 magnitude quake that rocked Nepal on Nepal 25. The epicentre of Tuesday's quake was 68 kilometres west of Namche Bazar near Mount Everest.
Panic-stricken people were seen rushing out of their houses after the latest quake jolted Nepal.
The tremors were felt across North and East India besides in Bangladesh.
