Dhaka: Another Bangladeshi blogger hacked to death
Dhaka, May 12: In another shocking incident, another Bangladeshi blogger was hacked to death on Tuesday.
According to reports, a masked gang wielding machetes hacked Ananta Bijoy Das around 8.30 am on Tuesday morning. Officials say that they have learnt that he was a writer.

This is the third such death reported this year. Reports suggest that Das was an atheist and wrote for Mukto Mona, a website which used to be moderated by Avijit Roy.
Roy was a Bangaldeshi born US citizen who was hacked to death earlier this year. Roy was known for his writings on religious fundamentalism.
The second death was reported on March 30 this year, when blogger Washiqur Rahman Babu was hacked to death by three men for allegedly insulting Prophet Mohammed.
