Chinese president Xi Jinping to address Pakistan parliament on Apr 20
Islamabad, April 18: Chinese President Xi Jingping will address a joint session of both houses of Pakistan's parliament on April 20, which is being summoned by President Mamnoon Hussain, media reported on Saturday.
The Chinese president will arrive in Islamabad on Monday on a two-day official visit. This would be his first foreign visit this year.

Chinese First Lady Peng Liyuan, Pakistan Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, governors and chief ministers of all four provinces, heads of the armed forces, and diplomats will attend the joint session, Geo News reported.
According to sources, both countries are expected to sign a number of agreements and memoranda of understanding worth almost $50 billion, relating to key development projects in infrastructure, energy, and communication sectors under the ambit of the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor.
Xi will be conferred with the country's highest civil award, the Nishan-e-Pakistan.
