Caught and bowled (over): Pet parrot exposes husband's affair to wife

Pet parrot takes couple by surprise, exposes husband's conversations with maid.

Kuwait, Oct 28: It came as a shock to a couple in Kuwait when their pet parrot started mimicking flirtitious exchange of words. To the wife's horror, it was actually imitating conversations between her husband and their maid.

According to Arab Times, the wife lodged a complaint with the Hawally police station in Kuwait and accused the husband of adultry and cheating. She is reported to have also said that she was suspecting such a thing for quite some time. The husband is reported to have become nervous when he saw the wife coming home from office early.

Although adultry attracts severe punishment in Saudi Arabia, this case was not registered as the prosecution officer argued that there was no concrete evidence that the parrot was not imitating a TV show.
