A video capturing the record-setting moment of a Ukrainian soldier has gained widespread attention on social media. The shot, made with a domestically produced rifle known as 'the Lord of the Horizon,' is depicted in the footage, revealing the Russian soldier collapsing to the ground following the precise long-distance shot by the Ukrainian sniper.

Manufactured by MAYAK, the weapon is designed to discharge bullets that can travel at speeds faster than the sound barrier for a distance of nearly 10,000 feet when paired with the correct ammunition.

It has to be noted that the world record was held by British sniper Craig Harrison, after he killed Taliban fighter in Afghanistan in 2009 from a distance of 1.54 miles.
