British couple arrested on suspicion of 'terror offences'
London, Nov 27: A couple in Britain has been arrested on suspicion of Syria-related "terrorism offences", police said on Wednesday.
The West Midlands Police Wednesday said the couplefrom Walsall in central England were detained on Tuesday evening at Heathrow Airport by the West Midlands Counter Terrorism Unit.
The man, 20, and the women, 19, were seized after they got off a flight from Istanbul.
Police said there was no risk to the safety of the flight last night, and the two are now in custody in the West Midlands.
