Bangladesh Railway minister becomes father at 69
Dhaka, May 30: Railway Minister of Bangladesh, Mazibul Hoque, has become the father of a baby girl after a year and seven months into marriage.
His wife Hanufa Akter Rikta gave birth to the baby girl at Square Hospital in Dhaka on Saturday afternoon. The minister was reported to have been saying that both the mother and the baby are healthy. He further added, "We haven't named her yet and we will do so after religious rituals."
The minister will be turning 69 on Tuesday. He married Rikta in October 2014.
