Ahmed Shah, President of the Arts Council of Pakistan, described her passing as "a profound loss for the Pakistani drama fraternity."
Actor Adnan Siddiqui, who worked with Ayesha Khan in his debut drama Aroosa, expressed his grief in a heartfelt message.
"She was my on-screen mother, but brought with her the grace of a true maternal figure," he said.
"In a fast-paced industry, Ayesha jee stood out with her calm dignity. Her presence made every space more human, and her craft spoke volumes."
