Laapata Ladies, Mirzapur, Hello Baccho- actor- Satendra Soni, has levelled serious allegations against filmmaker Pushpendra Singh and his wife, actor Pragati Chauhan, claiming he was threatened and assaulted after asking for his pending payment during the shooting of a film in Madhya Pradesh.

Soni shared his claims through videos posted on Instagram, where he described the alleged incident and appealed for attention. As of now, Pushpendra Singh and his team have not publicly responded to the allegations.

Actor Claims Payment Was Delayed

In his video, Satendra Soni said he had travelled to Maihar in Madhya Pradesh to shoot for the film Ped Palkhi. According to him, he received ₹50,000 as a signing amount, while the remaining payment was supposed to be made during the shoot.

Soni alleged that after completing nearly eight days of filming, he asked the filmmaker about his pending dues. He claimed that instead of receiving payment, he was allegedly told to leave the hotel immediately and was threatened.

According to Soni, he feared for his safety after the alleged confrontation.

Allegations Against Filmmaker and His Wife

In a detailed Instagram post, Soni further alleged that several members of the film unit had also not been paid.

He claimed that filmmaker Pushpendra Singh allegedly threatened him when he raised the issue of payment. Soni also accused Singh's wife, Pragati Chauhan, of verbally abusing him during the incident.

The actor alleged that as he was leaving the hotel with fellow actors Shreedhar Dubey and Pankaj Sharma, the filmmaker and his wife allegedly followed them in a car.

According to Soni, the two allegedly assaulted him on the road. He further claimed that when Shreedhar Dubey tried to intervene, he was also allegedly attacked.
These allegations have not yet been independently verified.

Actor Says He Returned Safely to Mumbai

Later, Satendra Soni shared another video confirming that he and the other actors had safely returned to Mumbai. He thanked the Maihar Police, actor Ashutosh Rana, and others who he said helped them during the incident.
In the video, Soni said the experience had been extremely difficult but expressed relief at reaching Mumbai safely.

No Response Yet From Filmmaker

At the time of writing, Pushpendra Singh and his production team have not issued any public statement responding to the allegations made by Satendra Soni.
It also remains unclear whether any formal police complaint has been filed regarding the alleged assault or threats.

The incident has attracted attention on social media, with many users calling for a fair investigation into the matter.
