The Indian badminton team had a great start against China. After winning the first two matches, the Indian team lost the next three matches. After which India was out of the gold medal race.

Athletics: Jyoti Yaraji won a silver medal in the 100-meter race at Asian Games 2023. Jyoti completed the race in 12.91 seconds and won the bronze medal. Jyoti finished the race in third position. But due to a mistake by the Chinese player, Jyoti got the advantage and she was successful in winning silver by coming second.
