Armed forces ready for any eventuality: Pak ISPR
Islamabad, Feb 28: The military's media wing, Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), has issued a situation update to notify that "Pakistan Army troops are at high alert along the Line of Control (LoC) with all required safeguards along Eastern Border in place to thwart any Indian aggression."
Pakistan Air Force and Pakistan Navy are also fully alert, the ISPR has assured, according to Dawn news.
"During the last 48 hours, Indian troops have resorted to increased ceasefire violations in Kotli, Khuiratta and Tatta Pani Sectors along LoC. Pakistan Army troops responding effectively," the statement added.

"Reports of casualties to Indian forces and damage to Indian posts. Indian deliberate firing on civilians has resulted in martyrdom of four citizens and two [citizens] injured."
"Pakistan's armed forces are in a state of readiness for all eventualities."
"The public to stay mindful of rumour mills and stay responsible in the use of social media," the note concludes.
