Fortunately, no injuries were reported as a result of the gunshots. Albany police spokesperson Megan Craft confirmed that the shots were fired outside Temple Israel shortly before 2 pm, and a suspect was promptly taken into custody.

The Albany Police Department is actively investigating the incident, and a call seeking comment was made to the temple. Additionally, an FBI spokesperson confirmed that they were aware of the episode and were assisting as necessary.
