Ab ki baar, Trump sarkar: Donald Trump borrows Narendra Modi’s hit slogan to woo Indian Americans

In order to woo Indian-Americans, Donald Trump smartly uses Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s popular election slogan from 2014, Ab ki baar, Modi Sarkar, and replaces the word Modi with Trump.

A video, where Donald Trump was seen mouthing Prime Minister Narendra Modi's popular slogan from 2014 Lok Sabha election campaign--Ab ki baar, Modi sarkar-- has now gone viral.

The only difference is that the Republican nominee, who is eyeing to become the next president of the United States, has smartly replaced the word Modi with Trump.

The authenticity of the video can't be verified, but the video begins with Trump wishing the Indian-American community on the occasion of Diwali. Thereafter he says, "Ab ki baar, Trump Sarkar."

Observers say, Trump is doing his best to woo the Indian-Americans to vote for him.

"The Hindu community has made fantastic contributions to world civilisation and to American culture and we look forward to celebrating our shared values of free enterprise, hard work, family values, and a strong American foreign policy," Trump said in a statement earlier.

"We love the Hindus and we love India," he added.

According to figures, there are around 3 million Indian Americans. Most of the Indian-American community - nearly 65% - supports the Democratic Party, while 18% favour Republicans, according to a 2014 Pew survey.

So, Trump is leaving no stone unturned to court the support of the community.
