30 IS militants killed in Afghanistan
Kabul, Nov 6: At least 30 militants owing allegiance to the Islamic State (IS) were killed in eastern Nangarhar province of Afghanistan, a local official said on Friday.
The government has launched operations against IS fighters in parts of Achin district Thursday night and killed at least 30 insurgents so far, Xinhua, a press agency quoted district governor Hajji Mohammad Ghalib as saying.
