Asaram lands in trouble again; Son booked for cheating
Reason being, an allegation by a woman from Indore that Sai had fraudulently got her married to one of his disciples.
Earlier also, Sai had attracted criticism for his comment on the girl, who had charged Asaram for molestation, being unstable. He had said, "The girl who is levelling allegations is mentally unstable, the allegations on Asaram Bapu are false."
Furthermore, he added that Asaram's ashram had already informed the girl's parents regarding the girl's instability. To add to the girl's humiliation, he had claimed the above-mentioned in a Satsang at Rajkot in Gujarat.
Meanwhile, Asaram has been directed to be kept in police remand for 14 days by a Jodhpur local court, allegedly for the sexual assault of the 16 year old girl.
