Lucknow, Aug 3: The Uttar Pradesh police has beefed up Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath's security. Reports say that the security was increased after inputs from Madhya Pradesh Police's intelligence department.
Following the alert, UP police has beefed up security around Yogi Adityanath's Lucknow bungalow.
"There is no specific reason for this and is also a part of our drill. On basis of threat perception we increase the security of VVIPS," Praveen Kumar Tripathi, UP police's IG Law and Order, said news agency ANI.
The Madhya Pradesh police has reportedly issued an advisory to UP police and Delhi Police.
