Woman Bites Off Ex-Boyfriend's Tongue After He Tries to Kiss Her

A disturbing incident was reported from Kanpur where a woman bit off a portion of her former boyfriend's tongue after he allegedly molested and forced a kiss on her near a pond.

The man, identified as 35 year old Champi, is married and was said to be involved in an affair with the woman. Police stated that he had been troubled by her decision to move on and get married with her family's approval.

Background of the Relationship

According to officials, the woman had ended all communication after becoming engaged. Investigators said that Champi was unhappy with her choice to marry another person selected by her parents. He allegedly kept attempting to meet her against her wishes, which led to rising tension between them.

Incident Near the Pond

On Monday afternoon, the woman had gone to a pond alone. Police reported that Champi spotted her and followed her to the location. He then allegedly held her and molested her. Despite her resistance and efforts to push him away, he continued forcing himself and attempted to kiss her. During the struggle, she reportedly bit his tongue so hard that a piece of it was severed.

Aftermath and Police Action

Hearing Champi's screams, local residents rushed to the spot. His family was informed and he was immediately taken to the Community Health Center. Following initial treatment, doctors referred him to a larger medical facility in Kanpur for further care.

Deputy Commissioner of Police Dinesh Tripathi confirmed that a case has been registered and said, "a case had been registered against the man and further legal action was being taken."
