When TTV Dinakaran wept before the Delhi police in EC bribery case

Continuous questioning and face to face interrogation with Sukesh cracked Dinakaran up and he began to sob by Tuesday evening.

T T V Dinakaran who was arrested in connection with the Election Commission bribery case was adamant at first. However when Sukesh Chandrashekhar the conman was brought before him and the Delhi police hurled proof at him, he broke down.

Dinakaran was shaky on Wednesday. When his questioning began, he took a long time to break. The Delhi police continued to question him and summoned him to their office in the plush Chanakyapuri area for the fourth day.

When Sukesh was brought before him, he began to admit that he had tried to strike a deal for the AIADMK's two leaves symbol. Continuous questioning and face to face interrogation with Sukesh cracked Dinakaran up and he began to sob by Tuesday evening.

Teary-eyed, he broke down after the Delhi police showed him evidence, call records of his phone. As per the phone records, he was in constant touch with Sukesh.

The police asked him why there were so many calls made to Sukesh. "On one hand you claim that you did not know him and on the other, you have made so many calls," the Delhi police told Dinakaran. The records were then shown to Sukesh who readily admitted that he had assured to strike a deal for Dinakaran.

An officer who is part of the probe said that it took almost three days to break Dinakaran. He was very difficult to crack at first, but with so much proof being thrown at him, he broke down, the officer also said.

The police also roped in Janardhan and Mallikarjun his personal assistants. Both admitted about the deal and this had put Dinakaran in a fix. He was left with no choice but to admit to the charges being made by the Delhi police.
