West Bengal: Braveheart teaches a tough lesson to her molesters

Kolkata, Sept 8: At a time when crime against women is on rise in the country, a 16-year old braveheart taught her molesters a tough lesson in Madhyamgram city of West Bengal.

The girl, who knows martial arts, punched and smashed the face of her molesters and made them run for their lives.

The incident took place on Monday, Sept 7, when the girl was returning home in the evening after attending her Karate classes. [Mumbai: 20-year-old brave girl confronts her molester, drags him to police station]

Finding her alone on the street, two youths who were riding bicycles, in an inebriated condition, approached the girl and tried to grab her. They also passed lewd comments at her.

Molesters had least idea that their attempt to tease the girl will backfire at them. They were left bruised and battered, as the brave girl, punched and kicked them hard.

Both of them then fled from the spot, while threatening her to take revenge.

The youths are said to be habitual offenders, who harass every woman or girl, passing by their side.

While talking to a leading daily, the girl said that even local police did not take any action against the hooligans.

Her brave act has served as an inspiration to the other girls of the same locality. An FIR has been registered into the case.

Meanwhile, police claims that they have identified one of the accused and efforts are on to nab them.
