Website of Jamia Milia Islamia University hacked
The official website of Jamia Millia Islamia- central university in Delhi was hacked in the wee hours of Tuesday. When visitors opened the website of the university (http://jmi.ac.in), the users are shown a webpage with a message that read,"Happy birthday Pooja".

No person or group has so far claimed the responsibility for the attack. The university is yet to issue an official statement.
It may be recalled that in April the website of the Supreme Court too had gone down. The website was allegedly hacked by a Brazilian group. A screenshot showed the Supreme Court website with "hackeado por HighTech Brazil HackTeam" written all over it.
The websites of home, defence, law and labour ministries too had gone down in a suspected cyber attack earlier this year. However the authorities had attributed it to a technical glitch.
