Weather forecast for June 10: Heavy rains likely to hit Mumbai, Kolkata and Delhi

Moderate to heavy rain with one or two very heavy spells are expected over West Coast particularly over South Konkan and Goa and Coastal Karnataka, along with parts of Kerala, Vidarbha, South Chhattisgarh and Southeast Madhya Pradesh. Here is the weather forecast for Bengaluru, Delhi, Hyderabad, and Mumbai for June 10.

Bengaluru:

Extremely heavy Monsoon rains lashed several parts of the West Coast of the country during the past day. According to Skymet weather, the offshore trough extending from Maharashtra Coast to Kerala Coast and a cyclonic circulation over South Madhya Maharashtra and adjoining South Konkan & Goa were responsible for these hefty showers. The maximum temperature will be recorded around 26 degree Celsius and humidity will be around 84 percent.

Delhi:

As predicted by Skymet Weather, severe dust storm, rain and thundershower lashes Delhi and adjoining regions. As per Skymet Weather, this trough continues to persist, thus we expect light to moderate rain and thundershower with isolated dust storm activity will continue over Punjab, Haryana, North Rajasthan and many parts of West Uttar Pradesh during the next 48 hours. Meanwhile, the maximum temperature will be recorded around 41 degree Celsius and humidity will be around 45 per cent.

Hyderabad:

Southwest Monsoon has covered the entire state of Telangana. However, it has remained subdued over the state. Meanwhile, Hyderabad city will be witnessing Scattered Thunderstorms on June 10. The maximum temperature would be recorded around 32 degree Celsius and humidity around 75 per cent.

Mumbai:

Skymet Weather had already predicted some heavy to very heavy rains approaching Mumbai, ever since the onset of Monsoon in Kerala. According to Skymet Weather, moderate to heavy rain and thundershowers would continue for next one or two hours. Subsequently, rains may take a brief break but will return soon. Frequent rainy spells filled with some heavy rains would continue throughout the day, predict weathermen. Meanwhile, on June 9, the city would witness hazy weather. The maximum temperature will be recorded around 32 degree Celsius and humidity around 74 per cent.
