Watch: Horrifying Gorakhpur Accident - Youth Thrown 100 Feet By Speeding Car, 2 Dead, 1 Critically Injured
In Gorakhpur's Ramnagar area, three youths were crushed by a speeding car, late on Sunday night. The individuals hit by the car were propelled about 100 ft away as the speeding car rammed into them.
The individuals identified in this accident are Moin Akhtar and Akil Ahmed, who died on the spot. Another injured individual, Tahir, is currently in critical condition in the hospital.

Horrifying Gorakhpur Accident
According to media reports, the three youths had come out for a night walk after dinner when they were hit by the speeding car. In the video, the car can be seen being driven at a very high speed. Meanwhile, three youngsters can be seen walking peacefully on the road where the speeding car crashed into them. The bodies of the two victims have been sent for post-mortem, and efforts are ongoing to find the accused driver of the speeding car.
Past Incidents of Speeding Car: Tragic Accidents Claim Multiple Lives
In Sonbhadra, Uttar Pradesh, a massive accident was reported when a high-speed truck laden with gravel overturned, colliding with an Alto car. Four members of a single family lost their lives in the accident. The victims were identified as residents of Singrauli-Khutar in Madhya Pradesh, as reported by Free Press Journal. Police reported, "Four members of a family from Madhya Pradesh's Singhrauli, namely, Raman Prasad Sharma, Reeta Devi, Sukvarya Devi, and Deepak Sharma, were on their way to Varanasi in their Alto car and died when a truck overturned."
In a similar incident reported earlier in February, a tragic accident occurred in Uttar Pradesh on February 24th. A tractor trolley carrying pilgrims had overturned, resulting in the deaths of 15 persons, reported Free Press Journal. Over a dozen others were injured in the accident that took place in Kasganj, 260 km southwest of Lucknow, the state capital of Uttar Pradesh. Chief Medical Officer, Dr. Rajeev Agarwal, stated that the deceased comprised seven children and eight women.
