Viksit Bharat Young Leaders Dialogue 2025: PM Modi Says Youth Shaping Roadmap For India's Next 25 Years

Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed the Viksit Bharat Young Leaders Dialogue 2025 at Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi. The event coincided with National Youth Day, which marks Swami Vivekananda's birth anniversary. Around 3,000 young attendees from across India participated, selected through a rigorous process.

During his speech, PM Modi highlighted the significant role of youth in shaping India's future over the next 25 years. He noted Swami Vivekananda's unwavering faith in young people and expressed his own belief in their potential. "Today, the energy of India's youth has filled Bharat Mandapam with vigour," he stated.

PM Modi's Faith in Youth

PM Modi emphasised that Swami Vivekananda believed the younger generation would solve all problems. "My faith lies in the new generation," he quoted Vivekananda, adding his own trust in what Vivekananda envisioned for India's youth. This belief underpins the Viksit Bharat Young Leaders Dialogue.

Reflecting on a past meeting with young athletes, PM Modi shared an anecdote where one athlete referred to him as 'Param Mitra' or 'best friend.' This sentiment of trust and camaraderie fuels initiatives like the dialogue, aiming to harness youth power for national development.

The Significance of Bharat Mandapam

PM Modi recalled the recent G20 Summit held at Bharat Mandapam, where global leaders discussed world futures. He expressed gratitude for now engaging with India's youth at this same venue. "It is my great fortune to now be here," he remarked, highlighting the symbolic continuity between global and national dialogues.

The Prime Minister reiterated his confidence that India's youth will drive the nation towards becoming a developed country soon. He believes their strength and determination are key to achieving this vision.
