VIDEO: Angry Mob Beat Up Delhi Pilot, Husband For Torturing Minor Domestic Help

A woman pilot and her husband, also an airline staff, were beaten up by a mob in Delhi's Dwarka for allegedly employing a 10-year-old girl as a domestic help and torturing her.

In the viral clip, a woman, clad in her pilot's uniform, is being attacked by angry mob. She is dragged by her hair and subjected to repeated blows from several other women.

Going by the reports, the minor was hired as a domestic help two months ago. The issue came to light after a relative of the victim spotted injury marks on her body.

Dwarka DCP M Harsha Vardhan says, "We reached the spot and found that a 10-year-old girl has been kept as domestic help by a couple. Her medical examination was conducted in which some injuries and burn marks have come to the fore."

The cops have filed the case under the IPC sections of 323, 324, 342 and Child Labour Act, 75 JJ Act. "A case has been registered. Both husband and wife have been detained and are being arrested," the DCP said. The counselling of the child has been done.

However, the cops have clarified that the victim has not been sexually harassed.
