Lucknow, Feb 27: Uttar Pradesh votes in one of the most crucial phases of the assembly elections. Phase five of the Uttar Pradesh assembly elections 2017 were held on Monday. Parts of eastern UP and the sensitive Terai region close to the foothills of Nepal will poll on Monday.

There are 12 districts which will go to polls. As many as 18 million voters will decide the fate of 607 candidates. The key districts apart from Amethi which would poll on Monday are Sultanpur, Ambedkar Nagar, Bahraich and Shravasti in the Terai region. During the last elections in 2012, the Samajwadi Party had won 37 seats in this phase while the Congress, BJP won 5 each and the BSP managed just 3. Who will win this crucial phase?
