UP shocker! Cops caught on camera sleeping on hospital beds, patients forced to lie on floor

Muradabad (UP), May 5: In yet another example of police insensitivity and gross misuse of power, Uttar Pradesh cops were caught on camera napping on hospital beds meant for patients. While the patients were forced to lie on the hospital floor.

A video showed cops sleeping in a district hospital in Muradabad district. Reports even claimed that patients admitted to the hospital were forced by the cops to sleep on the floor. They even misbehaved with the patients present inside the emergency ward.

UP cops force patients to sleep on floor

As per reports 4 cops, including two women officers, from Bijnore arrived at the hospital to admit a woman in the emergency ward. There were 7 patients inside the 8-seater ward when around 2 am in the night the cops asked the patients to vacate the beds.

When the patients and those attending them opposed the cops even threatened them. The kin of the patients then complained to the hospital administration it was then when media person came to know about the incident and went to record the police's insensitivity.

Watching camera the cops first removed their badges and later asked the media person to not to record. They were even caught on camera abusing the media persons.

Meanwhile on Tuesday, when the news started doing rounds on every TV channels the UP police administration suspended the cops for the gross misuse of their power.

This shocking incident once again reflects the insensitivity of UP police towards people and that the state administration springs into action only after incidents like these occur in several parts of the state, this one just came to light.
