UP's Growth Engine: Sanjay Prasad Highlights State's Industrial Transformation At International Trade Show

Sanjay Prasad, IAS, Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, in an exclusive conversation with OneIndia, praised the state government's progressive policies that have transformed Uttar Pradesh into India's growth engine. Highlighting the state's vast potential and diversity, he noted that every region's unique products were proudly showcased at the Uttar Pradesh International Trade Show, reflecting the vibrant industrial landscape and entrepreneurial spirit of the state.

Prasad emphasised that the industries in Uttar Pradesh are flourishing, and the trade show has received an overwhelming response from both businessmen and visitors. "The One District, One Product (ODOP) initiative has given every district in Uttar Pradesh a new identity, showcasing their strengths on a global platform," he remarked. He further lauded the ease with which businesses participated in the event, marking it as a significant step towards excellence.

The International Trade Show, which is being held in a vast area of over 110,000 square meters, is offering a golden platform for enterprises across all scales-micro, small, medium and large-to display their products, engage in sales and expand their reach to both domestic and international markets.

"This show features products from even the smallest places in Uttar Pradesh," Prasad highlighted, adding that the event allows local manufacturers and suppliers to connect with a diverse global audience.

Prasad underlined the immense potential of the "UP model," showcasing the state's progress toward becoming a hub for industrial and economic development. "This is just the second edition, but we are on a journey towards excellence, and we will continue to scale it up in the coming years," he asserted.
