TTD Introduces Masala Vada To Enrich Annaprasadam Menu
The Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam ( TTD) has introduced a delightful addition to its "Annaprasadam" menu by incorporating Masala Vada, a popular South Indian snack, to enhance the dining experience for devotees. On January 20, 2025, TTD staff served approximately 5,000 Masala Vadas to devotees as part of a trial run.
These vadas were prepared without onions and garlic, adhering to traditional practices. Feedback was collected from devotees to assess the taste and reception of the new menu item. Many devotees expressed satisfaction, noting that the Masala Vadas were delicious and a welcome addition to the offerings.

This initiative aligns with TTD Chairman B.R. Naidu's directive to enhance the quality and variety of food offerings at the Matrushri Tarigonda Vengamamba Anna Prasada Kendra. By introducing new items like Masala Vada, TTD aims to provide more nutritious and flavorful options to the multitude of pilgrims visiting Tirumala.
Following the positive response from the trial run, TTD plans to officially incorporate Masala Vada into the regular Annaprasadam menu. This addition reflects TTD's commitment to continually improving the services provided to devotees, ensuring their spiritual journey is complemented by wholesome and satisfying meals.
